In Celebration of Jim Wilson
In December 2008, James “Jerry” Wilson, the founder of Vegas Buzz News passed away.
He was an extraordinary person that while he faced many challenges in life, he never hesitated to help those less fortunate. He worked endlessly giving and helping others reach their maximum potential in life and always found a way to bring a spark of hope when they needed it the most.
My brother believed that America was a place that regardless of your economical or social status, if you are persistent and believe in your heart you can succeed, You Will.
While there is a long list of people from many walks of life that Jim helped over the years, Jim was humble and did so without a personal or selfish agenda. He always put others first…….
Jim believed that it was not his place to seek rewards and recognition for his good deeds. Jim knew that such recognition would come from a higher authority.
Jim Wilson, was an extraordinary man that worked endlessly for the betterment of others. Let us celebrate his “promotion” to a higher level and know in our hearts that Jim has transitioned to a place of reward and recognition and his light will shine brightly.
In closing I would like to leave you with a saying that Jim and I often shared,
“The greatest thief of human happiness and abundance is ungratefulness”.
Be grateful “everyday” for what you have and make saying thank you a daily habit that becomes common place in your life.
I am very grateful for the many people that I have meet as a result of Jim’s good works. It is my hope that you will remember my brother and eternally hold a place for him in your heart until you meet him again.
