Go Away Paris, Brittney and Lyndsay

The three names that turn my stomach whenever I hear them or see them on televison are Paris Hilton, Brittney Spears and Lyndsay Lohan.
There are more, but these three Muskateers (One was actually a Mousekateer), are in the limelight far more than they should be, or deserve to be.
None are role models for anyone, and represent the very worst society - albeit priviledged society - has to offer.
While young men and women are risking their lives to protect our freedoms - including the freedom to worship false idols like these three bimbos - media coverage all but ignores the sacrifices of the real heros. Perhaps the antics of these misguided women is more entertaining and therefore, deemed more worthy of watching. It's tabloid trash, low-hanging fruit pureered into a media circus.
My most fervent wish is that these non-contributing women and all their images are confined to the tabloids and the dumpsters where they belong, not in my TV news.
What really did it for me was the statement in the Paris Hilton Petition outlining rather lame reasons why this priviledged, spoiled brat socialite whose claim to fame was a pornographic video, should be given favors not accorded to the rank and file citizenry:
"Paris contributes excitement and beauty to our otherwise mundane lives."
Speak for yourself! My life is by no means mundane, and Paris Hilton contributes nothing to making it better or worse.
In fact, it's better without her in it, in any way, shape or form. And so is everyone else's.
And by the way, did the petition mention how driving under the influence of whatever, contributes 'reckless endangerment' to our 'otherwise mundane lives?'
That stupid, poorly written petition did more to disenfranchise whatever supporters Paris might have had. And the proof is in the prison lock-up.
I applaud sites like GOAWAYPARIS.COM and the accompanying song by the same name. My sentiments exactly, and entirely.
Looks like I got my wish for the time being. The small screen and even many of the tabloids have finally given it a rest. Watch when Paris Hilton gets out of the slammer though... I won't be watching.
Or reading.
