Sprint Nextel Finance Resolution Team
I am interested in speaking with someone about a “scam” that is being conducted by Sprint/Nextel.
A representative from the Sprint Customer Finance Resolution Team calls and says that you will be getting a bill that is higher than normal and we would like to review the account with you.
This is fraud. Sprint/Nextel’s objective is to trick you into believing that your son or daughter has used an extraordinary amount of text message minutes resulting in a charge of over $1000.00. They then tell you that we can credit your account for the overages if you agree to switch to a higher monthly plan.
Sprint’s CEO announced a plan that is $99.00 for unlimited everything. Their plan is to convert all customers paying less with lower plans to the higher monthly plan. They are doing this by using scare and scam tactics to make customers believe that their sons or daughters are really sending over 4000 text messages!!
We have the voice message recorded and also have a billing history to support that our son doe not have a history of such excessive text message use.
This is fraud and it is an abuse of consumer privacy and trust in a national company.
Let’s do something about this before another large corporation makes victims of honest hard working Moms and Dads!
