Luxury Living Review - Pelican Grand Beach Resort Fort Lauderdale

image03.jpgThe Pelican Beach Resort sits on a 500-foot private beach, with 180 oversized guest rooms (including 117 with balconies) and a sublimely relaxing, wraparound oceanfront veranda and sun deck with rocking chairs. What also rocks about this place are the two heated outdoor pools, complete with a lazy river raft ride. This is a great, low-key luxury resort, especially for families looking for a relaxing vacation with all the amenities of a more harried chain resort overwrought with slews of people. The resort is also completely nonsmoking.

The Pelican Grand Beach Resort is a British Colonial-style hotel condominium with luxurious interior amenities such as exotic hardwood flooring, flat screen TV's, bar with granite countertops, refrigerators and microwaves, and hurricane impact glass. The hotel condo units range in size from 416 to 698 sq. ft. with the least expensive units starting just under $500,000. For beachfront property, nothing in South Florida matches this price, especially with all of the amenities found in this four-star property!
