Vegas Buzz Receives Honorable Mention on Local Radio

KLAV's Street Harmony Review

Vegas Buzz was mentioned on Street Harmony Review, a colorful oldies style show on KLAV-AM 1230 hosted by the congenial owners of Wax Trax, Rich and Sonny Rosen.  You can't buy that kind of advertising! LISTEN HERE!

We were originally scheduled to appear with Howie Newman, Manager of Doo-Wopp.com, recently covered in Vegas Buzz, but ran into scheduling and production conflicts.  It became apparent early Monday morning we wouldn't be able to make it and fulfill current commitments.  We look forward to participating in the show in the future, and also interviewing Wax Trax and future guests for Vegas Buzz and Vegas Buzz Radio.

Special guests on the program also included "The Reflections" an accapella-rooted group from Brooklyn - as many were - responsible for such megahits as Gloria and Just Like Romeo and Juliet.

Doo-Wop is alive and well in Las Vegas, and continues to flourish yearly, with more and more of the original groups coming to town for sold-out performances, and tribute groups such as Doo-Wopp.com and radio programs like Street Harmony Review are doing much to keep the flames fanned and burning brightly.  You can see Doo-Wopp.com just about every Thursday Night in the Tequila Lounge at the Fiesta, across from Texas Station.  Check Doo-Wopp.com's website  for information on upcoming performances, member bios and more. 

Street Harmony Review can be heard during "Prime Time" on KLAV-AM 1230 every Monday evening between 8 and 10 PM. It's home to tunes you've probably not heard in years!
