The above is from the Behringer site. The mixing unit is by Behringer, and contains a pre-amp. It can accomodate 4 to 6 channels of stereo audio, and various mono inputs.
I have used it before, but had to sell the one I had due to economic situations, about a year ago.
It comes in 4 and 6-channel versions, for a little over $100 - I've seen it on eBay for around $50 new.
I recommended it to people who have sent me podcasts in the past, and it works great.
This is a sample using it and a cheesy mike - so you can probably make do with a good mixer/pre-amp.
