Biography

Susan Genard is the producer and subject of the new documentary No Limit: A Search for the American Dream on the Poker Tournament Trail. A poker enthusiast and tournament winner for many years, Genard learned the game from her mother and played during weekend trips to Las Vegas while she was a college student. Genard is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of UCLA. She has been in the film industry since 1990 and began her career working for independent film and television production companies. Genard worked on the feature films My Cousin Vinny and Cool Runnings, spent two years at the prestigious Creative Artists Agency, two years at Walt Disney Pictures, and had a development deal at Sony-Tristar Pictures.

Genard was the Executive Producer on the independent feature film Men In Scoring Position. Currently she works as an independent film producer for her company, Camden Pictures, and as contributing editor for MovieMaker magazine. She is also a member of the 2006 Elle magazine poker team. Genard and her children make their home in Los Angeles.
