MP3 AUDIO Interview

Joan Baumeister, a local Las Vegas resident, writes about and explains a highly controversial and unpopular topic: Sexual harassment in the workplace.

Harassment is a gender-crossing, career destroying phenomenon that needn't be that way.  Particularly when none has taken place.  Illusions can be just as dangerous as the real thing, according to Joan.

Joan does seminars and talks on the topic, and has written a book, "A Lady Offended," portraying her own experiences with sexual harassment in the workplace in a variety of forms.

"Communication is the answer,"  she says...

Excerpt From Joan's Book:

Preface

We resisted that incredible passion to preserve our careers.  In the end the fear destroyed his as well.  After thirty years of excellent performance they dispensed with him rather than let a conversation solve our problem.  The great love the community had for him was his undoing.  They used his career against him, leveraged it to get him to go along with the Court actions against me.  It was for his protection they promised.  He tried to tell them I would not back off if I believed in what I was doing.  They told him he never had any sense when it comes to me.  I would destroy his life, that he had no other choice.  Against his better judgment he agreed.  They sacrificed him anyway and he walked out with the tag of Sexual Harasser.  He doesn't deserve it and I do not deserve my tag as a mentally unstable woman.  The blame is alternated between us because our world has no language for peace.

Looks like it to me. All you have to do is read her diatribe, and one can see that her thoughts are completely disconnected.

What about this excerpt makes you think this woman is psychologicaly unstable. Did any of you read her book, A Lady Offended'? If you haven't, then you have no right to judge her actions, or her mental status.

Believe me, I've read her "book", if you want to call it that. If you can follow her thought process, you need help too. What about her "book" makes you think she's in touch with reality????
