A new survey cited by the Washington Post runs down all the conceivable dangers of texting while doing other things, particularly operating a moving vehicle. As in the case of that LA train wreck which killed 25 people including the engineer, who was texting and blew past a red light, colliding into a freight train.

Cheaper? Easier? The consensus seems to be a little of both.
