Palin Continues Online Video Dominance

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues to clean up when it comes to online video views. Of the top 100 most-viewed videos for the week ending Sept. 9, across the 20 Web video sites that research firm TubeMogul tracks, eight of those videos are Palin-related, compared to two each for the presidential candidates, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain. Together, the Palin-related videos have earned more than 2 million views.

In total, there are 9,480 videos on YouTube mentioning Palin, accounting for 113 million views, TubeMogul said. Those figures are cumulative and account for all videos ever posted on the site mentioning her.

In addition, other Web video creators such as Philip DeFranco and Michael Buckley are creating videos about her, making her the most vlogged-about person since Sen. Obama himself during the primaries, Tube Mogul said.
